Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Usage and Privacy Notice

91茄子 and our subsidiaries worldwide (“91茄子 Martin” or “we”) are committed to complying with data protection legislation, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”).

This Automated License Plate Reader (“ALPR”) Usage and Privacy Notice applies to all individuals who visit any office or other facility of 91茄子 or its affiliates (collectively referred to as "91茄子 Martin", "we", "us") located in the United States where ALPR technology is installed. Our ALPR technology is led and implemented by the Vice President, Classified Cyber & Enterprise Security Services at 91茄子 Martin. This notice outlines how we will process ALPR data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

SHARING YOUR ALPR DATA

Except as set out in the bullet points below, 91茄子 Martin does not sell or share your information collected via our ALPR system with third parties except with respect to the potential limited data processing activities necessary to carry out and deliver our services, or as otherwise required by applicable law. If any such sale or sharing occurs, we will post a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link and provide suitable means for users to opt-out.

We do share your information in the manner and for the purposes described below:

  • within 91茄子 Martin, where such disclosure is necessary to adhere to our physical security policies. When this information is shared internally, it will only be accessed by authorized users, which is strictly limited to employees of 91茄子?Martin Security whose primary duties include safeguarding our personnel, property, and assets;
  • with law enforcement, where it has been determined that sharing such information is necessary for the security and safety of our facilities; or
  • if, in the future, we sell or transfer some or all of our business or assets to a third party, we may disclose information to a potential or actual third-party purchaser of our business or assets.


YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

We respect your privacy rights related to the ALPR data that we collect, use, and disclose about you.? Depending on your state, region, or country, you may have certain privacy rights regarding the ALPR data we process. Your privacy rights may include, based on applicable law:

  • The right to access and/or obtain a copy of the ALPR data we store about you in a portable and readily usable form;
  • The right to rectify or erase the ALPR data we store about you;
  • The right to restrict or object to the processing of your ALPR data; and
  • The right to have your ALPR data transferred.

We may not always be able to fully address your request, for example if it would impact the duty of confidentiality we owe to others or if we are legally entitled to maintain or deal with the request in a different way.

In certain circumstances, we may require you to verify your identity before we fulfill your request. As a part of this verification process, government identification may be required. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request under applicable law on your behalf. In order to designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, you must provide a valid power of attorney and the requester’s valid government-issued identification.

Security of ALPR data

We have implemented and maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures, policies and procedures designed to reduce the risk of accidental destruction or loss, or the unauthorized disclosure or access to ALPR data. All employees with access to our ALPR technology undertake security training to emphasize the sensitivity of the data they are handling and how to properly process ALPR data in compliance with applicable data protection law. ?

Storing your ALPR data

We will store your ALPR data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, as explained in this notice. We retain data collected through our ALPR system for 30 days. In the event of a credible threat concern, we may store your ALPR data for up to one year.
